On 4 April, the municipality of Saanen will vote on the development regulations for the reopening of the Rellerli. Together with Mountain View AG, the Friends of the Rellerli are campaigning for a new gondola lift that will combine modern technology with nature-orientated tourism.

On Friday evening, the municipal assembly of Saanen clearly approved all the items on the agenda. The voters approved the development regulations for the new development regulations for the new gondola lift to the Rellerli. The project focuses on gentle tourism without ski slope preparation or summer attractions – the financing is exclusively private.
